Mexico

Able Electronics Corporation, a rapidly-growing contract
electronics manufacturer, today announced the grand opening
of its 26,527 square-foot (8,085 square-meter) Mexico
subsidiary, AbleMex S.A. de C.V. The new Tijuana, Mexico
operation marks the company’s first international
expansion since Able’s acquisition of GET Manufacturing
just 10 months ago, in November of 1999.
"Establishing AbleMex is truly a win-win situation
for us and for our customers by allowing us more flexibility
in providing the highest quality manufacturing
services," said Peter Dennis, Able Electronics
president & COO. "After launching Able, we quickly
responded to our customers’ requests to have a strategic
presence in Mexico. AbleMex represents our commitment to
multiple manufacturing solutions and total customer
satisfaction."
AbleMex S.A. de C.V. provides a full range of
medium-to-high volume, full turnkey manufacturing, test and
logistical services. This includes capabilities ranging from
PCBA levels through system build, integration, in-circuit
test, pack-out, product fulfillment, OEM worldwide sales
order distribution and product repair, refurbishment and
upgrades. Additionally, AbleMex has manual thru-hole and box
build capabilities and will initially offer one Fuji SMT
line with 0.001" placement accuracy as well as BGA and
Micro-BGA. The new facility will adhere to Able’s high
quality standards.
A 45-minute drive from the San Diego, Calif. airport,
AbleMex S.A. de C.V. is located in Parque Industrial Tijuana
